We’re walking in the air: join The Snowman on his magical journey through the winter sky. This annual showing of the festive classic features live orchestral music and has become a Tyneside tradition. But wrap up warm, because first of all the whole family is going on a musical Bear Hunt!

This is a relaxed performance of our Snowman programme in a supportive and relaxed environment suited to those with autism or disabilities and their families. Listeners are free to move around and make noise during this performance and Hall doors will be left open for people to come and go as they wish.

Stage Times

2pm: Bear Hunt
2.30pm: The Snowman
3pm: End
Please note there will be no interval during the relaxed performance and timings are subject to change.

This performance will be BSL interpreted.

The BSL signer will be positioned at the front of the stage on stage right (East side of the hall). We are holding a selection of seats in front of this area to offer the best view for BSL users. However, if you would prefer to sit elsewhere, we believe you will have a clear view of the signer from anywhere in the hall, with the exception of the sides of Levels 2 and 3. Please note that the held seats will be released for general sale at 5pm on Friday 30th November. You will still be able to book any available seats in this area after this date, but they will no longer be reserved solely for BSL users.

To book the held seats, please book in person, call our Ticket Office on 0191 443 4661, dial 18001 0191 443 4661 from your textphone, or use the Next Generation Text Service app. To find out more about calling us from your textphone click here. For help with the NGT app click here.
